Top coworking spaces in Zurich 2024

The largest city in Switzerland, Zürich is an important European financial center and a hub for transport as well as art galleries. The service sector thrives in the city, where the quality of life has often been ranked as the best in the world. Whether you’re planning a short visit or a longer stay, Remotely Serious has compiled a list of the best coworking spaces in the city to make your trip productive and comfortable.

Citizen Space Zurich

Established in 2007, Citizen Space Zurich is the first coworking space in Switzerland and sits in the heart of District 5, in a large former soap factory redesigned in a style that combines retro and modern sensibilities. Several open spaces as well as closed offices are available. A day pass at 30 CHF grants you access to a flex desk and free coffee, a Flex Desk membership at 350 CHF per month gives you 24/7 access to a flexible desk with your own key as well as 4 hours of meeting room use, while upgrading to a Flex Desk Plus membership at 370 CHF adds either unlimited coffee or standard printing. There are three Fixed Desk options, starting at 500 CHF for 24/7 access to your own desk and 8 hours of meeting room. Again, if you wish to add either unlimited coffee or printing, it’ll cost you 520 CHF, or 540 CHF for both.

Impact Hub Zürich - Colab

The purpose of Impact Hub Zürich is to bring together makers and companies who are innovating for the future. You can access the space simply to do some coworking, with a day pass at 45 CHF for non-members. The Community membership at 50 CHF per month allows you to join the network and get day passes at a discounted price as well as 25% off on meeting room rentals and 15% off at both the café and the restaurant on the premises. Many more membership options are available depending on your frequency of usage (for instance, the Explorer membership at 305 CHF gives you 12 days/month of coworking). Unlimited coworking costs 525 CHF, and fixed desks are also on offer. Free coffee and tea and many events are also available. In addition, you can join different Impact Programs, designed to support entrepreneurs and help them generate ideas and solutions for a more sustainable and just future.

Blau10

A truly collaborative space open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Blau10 asks its members to contribute to the community by offering their skills to others. The coworking space has 12 workstations with WiFi and printer, lounge, café bar, meeting rooms and a roof terrace. A community membership for 2 days per week of coworking costs 240 CHF per year only, while the same availability for non-community members costs 240 CHF per month. University students who wish to join the community and get 2 days of access per week pay only 60 CHF per year. Each December, members are asked whether they want to remain in the community for the following year.

Westhive Hardturmstrasse

Westhive has four locations in Zurich, with Hardturm, in the tech district of Zurich West, being its biggest one. The decor is modern and comfortable, and the facilities are adapted to your needs, with open spaces, a roof terrace, meeting rooms, a podcast studio, a gaming room, a fitness room with showers and phone booths available. Memberships are flexible, with the Flexible Desk option starting at 39 CHF for one day, and 178 CHF/month for 5 days/month, and going up to 498 CHF for unlimited, with access Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m to 8 p.m. The Fixed Desk membership is 510 CHF and grants you 24/7 access and additional discounts on other services. Team offices can also be rented for a month, and equipped meeting room and workshop spaces of different sizes are also on offer. Members have access to other Westhive locations, too.

Spaces - Zurich, Bleicherweg

Coworking giant Spaces is, of course, present in Zurich, and the Bleicherweg location, only 300m from Lake Zurich and 200m from Paradeplatz, is close to many international companies. As always with Spaces, memberships are flexible, with the coworking option starting at 145 CHF for 5 days per month, and going up to 355 CHF for unlimited access Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fixed desks and private offices are also on offer, as well as five meeting rooms.

Headsquarter

Each of the three locations of Headsquarter has a distinct atmosphere: urban, hip, historic or elegant (artistic is coming soon). You have to become a member to get your own fixed desk (it seems that flexible desk isn’t an option), or you can get a private space or design your own, with phoneboxes or separate corners for your teams. Each space has a gym, and the Historic location also offers a recording studio. Coffee, a reception desk and community events every week make the Headsquarters great coworking spaces to check out!
